Note: This fix assumes you have purchased:
REPAIR & RECOVERY DISK WINDOWS XP, Vista, Windows 7 – LAPTOP/DESKTOP
for £1.50 from our ebay store: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/nikalsystems
Simply insert the CD before the machine starts up and it should boot from the CD. If your machine does not boot from CD you may need to change the boot sequence in the system bios. The system bios can normally be accessed by pressing one of the F keys. As your pc is starting up look for something similar to “Press F2 to enter setup”, if there is nothing like that, keep restarting and pressing each F key in sequence until you find the right one, also include the DEL key and ESC key.
Then locate “boot order” or “boot sequence” and change it so the first boot device is your CD/DVD drive, save and exit. Restart and the PC will boot from CD and display the program menu where you can run all the various tools etc.
Now reboot and keep your fingers crossed, hopefully your issue will be resolved. If you find that the system now boots but some things are still not working as expected, attempt a full system restore.
If you need a windows system restore disk you can purchase them from our Amazon Store:
